Cat B (large cars) climbed $4,288 (+9.5%) to $49,300. That is its 3rd rise in a row. It is the highest Cat B premium since Dec 2017 Ex 1 ($53,711). A year earlier, in Dec 2019 Ex 2, it was $36,000, so the premium is 36.9% higher year on year.

Cat E (open category) climbed $3,990 (+8.8%) to $49,500. That is its 3rd rise in a row. It is the highest Cat E premium since May 2019 Ex 1 ($52,502). A year earlier, in Dec 2019 Ex 2, it was $37,989, so the premium is 30.3% higher year on year.

Cat C (goods vehicles) climbed $2,312 (+7.0%) to $35,201. It is the highest Cat C premium since Mar 2018 Ex 1 ($36,003). A year earlier, in Dec 2019 Ex 2, it was $23,200, so the premium is 51.7% higher year on year.

Cat D (motorcycles) inched up $19 (+0.2%) to $7,689. That is its 3rd rise in a row. It is the highest Cat D premium since Aug 2020 Ex 1 ($7,701). A year earlier, in Dec 2019 Ex 2, it was $3,658, so the premium is 110.2% higher year on year.
