PARF & COE Rebate Calculator
Estimate what you get back when you deregister (scrap or export) your car — the PARF rebate plus the unused COE rebate.
Found on your vehicle log card / dealer breakdown.
The COE price you paid when the car was registered.
Enter your OMV and registration date to estimate your rebate.
Estimates use ARF rates and PARF rebate tiers current as of 2023 and assume a standard car registered with a COE. Actual figures depend on your vehicle and prevailing rules — confirm with the LTA.
How the PARF Rebate Works
The PARF rebate is a percentage of the ARF you paid, based on the car’s age when you deregister it:
| Age at deregistration | PARF rebate |
|---|---|
| Up to 5 years | 75% of ARF |
| 5–6 years | 70% of ARF |
| 6–7 years | 65% of ARF |
| 7–8 years | 60% of ARF |
| 8–9 years | 55% of ARF |
| 9–10 years | 50% of ARF |
| 10 years or more | No PARF rebate |
This is why many owners weigh selling before the 10-year mark — see PARF Rebate Explained and Renewal vs Scrapping.
