Cat B (large cars) inched up $588 (+0.7%) to $80,989. A year earlier, in Dec 2020 Ex 2, it was $49,300, so the premium is 64.3% higher year on year. That puts it at the top of its 12-month range of $45,001 to $82,801.

Cat E (open category) fell $1,111 (−1.3%) to $83,889. That is its 3rd fall in a row. A year earlier, in Dec 2020 Ex 2, it was $49,500, so the premium is 69.5% higher year on year. That puts it in the upper part of its 12-month range of $47,001 to $88,000.

Cat C (goods vehicles) fell $1,000 (−2.2%) to $44,000. A year earlier, in Dec 2020 Ex 2, it was $35,201, so the premium is 25.0% higher year on year. That puts it in the upper part of its 12-month range of $35,201 to $45,001.

Cat D (motorcycles) rose $200 (+2.1%) to $9,601. It is the highest Cat D premium since Sep 2021 Ex 1 ($9,689). A year earlier, in Dec 2020 Ex 2, it was $7,689, so the premium is 24.9% higher year on year.
