Cat B (large cars) fell $521 (−1.3%) to $40,989. A year earlier, in Sep 2019 Ex 2, it was $37,000, so the premium is 10.8% higher year on year. That puts it at the top of its 12-month range of $30,012 to $41,805.

Cat E (open category) inched up $211 (+0.5%) to $41,001. That is its 6th rise in a row. It is the highest Cat E premium since Oct 2019 Ex 2 ($42,020). A year earlier, in Sep 2019 Ex 2, it was $40,000, so the premium is 2.5% higher year on year.

Cat C (goods vehicles) climbed $1,945 (+7.3%) to $28,589. That is its 4th rise in a row. It is the highest Cat C premium since Apr 2019 Ex 2 ($32,001). A year earlier, in Sep 2019 Ex 2, it was $25,556, so the premium is 11.9% higher year on year.
