Cat B (large cars) climbed $6,001 (+5.5%) to $116,002. That is its 3rd rise in a row. It is the highest Cat B premium since Dec 2023 Ex 1 ($130,100). A year earlier, in Oct 2023 Ex 1, it was $146,002, so the premium is 20.5% lower year on year.

Cat E (open category) rose $2,896 (+2.6%) to $116,000. That is its 5th rise in a row. It is the highest Cat E premium since Dec 2023 Ex 2 ($118,388). A year earlier, in Oct 2023 Ex 1, it was $152,000, so the premium is 23.7% lower year on year.
