Cat B (large cars) rose $3,701 (+3.5%) to $110,001. It is the highest Cat B premium since Jan 2024 Ex 2 ($112,000). A year earlier, in Sep 2023 Ex 2, it was $140,889, so the premium is 21.9% lower year on year.
Cat E (open category) climbed $6,203 (+5.8%) to $113,104. That is its 4th rise in a row. It is the highest Cat E premium since Dec 2023 Ex 2 ($118,388). A year earlier, in Sep 2023 Ex 2, it was $144,640, so the premium is 21.8% lower year on year.
