Cat A (small cars) rose $2,489 (+3.0%) to $85,489. It is the highest Cat A premium since Dec 2023 Ex 1 ($88,020). A year earlier, in Mar 2023 Ex 2, it was $93,503, so the premium is 8.6% lower year on year.

Cat B (large cars) was unchanged at $96,011. A year earlier, in Mar 2023 Ex 2, it was $116,201, so the premium is 17.4% lower year on year. That puts it in the lower part of its 12-month range of $85,010 to $150,001.

Cat E (open category) inched up $846 (+0.9%) to $95,856. A year earlier, in Mar 2023 Ex 2, it was $116,020, so the premium is 17.4% lower year on year. That puts it at the bottom of its 12-month range of $94,006 to $158,004.

Cat C (goods vehicles) dropped $5,487 (−7.3%) to $70,112. A year earlier, in Mar 2023 Ex 2, it was $85,389, so the premium is 17.9% lower year on year. That puts it in the lower part of its 12-month range of $67,599 to $85,900.

Cat D (motorcycles) rose $289 (+3.1%) to $9,689. It is the highest Cat D premium since Dec 2023 Ex 1 ($9,858). A year earlier, in Mar 2023 Ex 2, it was $12,001, so the premium is 19.3% lower year on year.
