Category by Category
Cat A (small cars) fell $1,638 (−3.3%) to $48,002. That puts it at the top of its 12-month range of $32,699 to $49,640.
Cat B (large cars) fell $1,189 (−1.9%) to $60,001. That puts it at the top of its 12-month range of $35,001 to $61,190.
Cat E (open category) rose $902 (+1.5%) to $63,002. That is its 4th rise in a row. It is the highest Cat E premium in our records, which begin in July 2017.
Cat C (goods vehicles) fell $1,000 (−2.3%) to $43,001. That puts it at the top of its 12-month range of $23,888 to $45,001.
Cat D (motorcycles) inched up $11 (+0.1%) to $8,011. It is the highest Cat D premium since Feb 2018 Ex 1 ($8,451).
Bidding Competition
Some COEs went unallocated: Cat C (38 of 157). Unallocated COEs are added to the next exercise’s quota. The Cat B quota fell −14.3% to 819 from the previous exercise.
