Cat B (large cars) dropped $3,822 (−9.6%) to $35,906. That is its 3rd fall in a row. It is the lowest Cat B premium since Feb 2019 Ex 2 ($35,403). A year earlier, in Jun 2018 Ex 2, it was $33,900, so the premium is 5.9% higher year on year.

Cat E (open category) dropped $2,602 (−6.2%) to $39,400. That is its 3rd fall in a row. It is the lowest Cat E premium since Mar 2019 Ex 1 ($37,620). A year earlier, in Jun 2018 Ex 2, it was $34,400, so the premium is 14.5% higher year on year.

Cat C (goods vehicles) was unchanged at $25,501. That is its 4th fall in a row. It is the lowest Cat C premium in our records, which begin in July 2017. A year earlier, in Jun 2018 Ex 2, it was $32,001, so the premium is 20.3% lower year on year.

Cat D (motorcycles) fell $90 (−2.9%) to $3,000. That is its 5th fall in a row. It is the lowest Cat D premium since Jan 2019 Ex 2 ($2,889). A year earlier, in Jun 2018 Ex 2, it was $6,889, so the premium is 56.5% lower year on year.
