Cat A (small cars) jumped $2,643 (+10.3%) to $28,199. A year earlier, in Nov 2017 Ex 1, it was $47,112, so the premium is 40.1% lower year on year. That puts it in the lower part of its 12-month range of $25,000 to $46,791.

Cat B (large cars) rose $1,000 (+3.2%) to $32,302. A year earlier, in Nov 2017 Ex 1, it was $57,414, so the premium is 43.7% lower year on year. That puts it at the bottom of its 12-month range of $31,000 to $57,390.

Cat E (open category) fell $900 (−2.7%) to $32,000. A year earlier, in Nov 2017 Ex 1, it was $57,000, so the premium is 43.9% lower year on year. That puts it at the bottom of its 12-month range of $31,001 to $57,501.

Cat C (goods vehicles) was unchanged at $29,501. A year earlier, in Nov 2017 Ex 1, it was $58,036, so the premium is 49.2% lower year on year. That puts it at the bottom of its 12-month range of $27,001 to $57,701.

Cat D (motorcycles) plunged $1,442 (−36.5%) to $2,509. That is its 12th fall in a row. It is the lowest Cat D premium in our records, which begin in July 2017. A year earlier, in Nov 2017 Ex 1, it was $5,502, so the premium is 54.4% lower year on year.
